Graduated!

As the title implies, I have graduated from my university around 6 days ago. (And you just made the post about it now? >w> ) ( <w<" Please... I had quite a schedule...) For someone who never attend a graduation ceremony or have it, this event was quite making me nervous, though I tried not to show it. (... Show it. Show it. Me sexy and me know it~ (~ >w<)~ ) *smacked* So, let me give you a brief description about the graduation ceremony.

There are three sessions for the ceremony because there were quite a lot of students. The attendees are from Binus Regular and Binus International. I myself, were attending the third session, and from Binus International. The students' parents and families are also allowed to attend, but they need to have the invitation cards to enter the hall. (We had our graduation ceremony in a big room called Plenary Hall, at Jakarta Convention Center, or JCC for short.)

Here's the Plenary Hall where the graduation ceremony took place.

The invitation cards were distributed two per students when we had the rehearsal for the real ceremony along with our cap and toga. (I arrived late though.)

Here's me and how the cap and the toga looks like. =3

Additional invitation cards must be purchased. The students don't need the invitation to go in though. (And I thought I need it.) I came with my father, aunt, and uncle. But since there were only two cards with me, only my father and my aunt went in. My uncle was watching from a TV outside the hall.

The ceremony was started with the rector, heads of school, and the staffs entering the hall. The rector gave welcoming speech and declared to start the ceremony. There were some opening songs but I forgot which songs. The ceremony was conducted with respective heads of school in front, giving the congratulation to each students and students of the school queuing to the stage. Their names were called one by one by, let's say the speakers, then the student whose name was called will climb upon the stage, shaking hands with the rector and the heads of school. At the last handshake, the students were given a cylinder case, wrapped with cloth and ribbon, with a little adornment rope on the lid. It's empty though. The diploma will be given around a month after the ceremony. After that, it was another sing a song and a closing statement by the rector. Then the rector, heads of school, and the staffs left the hall.

Me and my friends were taking photos after the ceremony. I also took some before the ceremony. Then I left with my father, aunt, and uncle to eat.

So yeah, I'm now a Bachelor of Computer Science! \(0w0)/
